As the Training and Development Co-ordinator at ACEOC, my work is largely about ensuring quality management principles are embedded in ACEOC’s collaborative alliance with their external facilitator team. Two-way communication ensures that we are listening to our trainer’s expertise and adherence to ACEOC’s high quality standards (program fidelity).
My background is as a Social Worker (BA) with a Master’s degree in Management. I have built my approach with a paediatric, trauma-informed lens and draw from my experience at the Emergency Department at The Royal Children’s Hospital (Victoria) where I assisted in developing and facilitating the DFV workplace training for all Victorian staff in health care settings to respond to patients experiencing DFV.
My facilitation-style has been described by participant’s as highly-responsive and engaging. In addition to this, I ensure that my delivery is tailored and attuned to the client group. I thrive on robust and challenging discussions and am passionate about making a difference in the sector.
